OTT Streaming Platform
Video on demand, at high traffic. Key components of a high-traffic video-on-demand platform — low-latency streaming, high availability, secure authentication and subscription management.
Overview
An over-the-top (OTT) video-on-demand platform built to handle heavy traffic. I worked on key parts of the system with .NET Core, React, Azure and MSSQL.
My contribution
- Streaming performance — engineered components that keep streaming low-latency and the service highly available.
- Identity & subscriptions — implemented user authentication and subscription-management modules using secure identity protocols.
- Performance — optimised database queries and API response times so the platform handles many concurrent sessions smoothly.
